Used is most of the time not good . used are usually beaten to death. New at least for me is the only way to go and my stage 2 hahn turbo kit in my 96 has as much hp as a stock srt4 about 230 hp.
You can build a brand new 2.4l SRT-4 engine for around $3,000 if you really do the work and shop around for the best prices ...then spend another $1,000 on a used (but low mileage) transmission, buy a used wiring harness, PCM, and any other random parts you may need for the swap for a few hundred and your all set.

Forget the Hahn turbo kit and consider an SRT-4 motor with trans. The regular Neons internal engine components are only meant to handle around 250 hp max. The SRT-4 motors can handle way more so u wouldn't have to worry about internal engine components if u wanted to add even more performance. I wish I would have done the SRT-4 swap from the beginning. For the amount of money u would pay for a turbo kit u might as well do the SRT-4 swap.
