yes it does somewhat but I never run mine ac much . I get cooled down the old fashion way windows down. Really didnt hurt my sound system much meaning I have a small one .

Try moderperformance.com. They have a pretty good selection of everything youll need for your second gen. It is recommended that a nearly stock n/a engine only go as big as a 55mm throttle body. It gets more air flow but doesnt "kill" the power with too much.

As far as the udp, they will send less power to your accessories. The accessories included would be the power steering pump, the AC, and alternator. The reg. udps that are offered are smaller in diameter and lighter. By getting one of those they will send less power to your alternator. If people have powerful sound systems they normally don't bother with udps.

Your A/C will not perform any differenetly with the UDP installed.
