I am also a v8 guy and I will tell you that you will more than likely not like the srt4 exhaust. Even with the glasspack. I had it and took it off, I am planning to put a flowmaster muffler on that I had from a previous camaro that I had. The rt muffler should bolt right up as long as you have the 2.25 exhaust.

I would have to disagree having a srt exhaust with a glasspack is the sweetest exhaust I have ever heard other than the borla .The srt with glasspack is not annoying like almost every dual .

thanks but i dont want any sound. kim a v8 guy and i cant stand the sound of a 4 banger with exhaust just my opinion. i just like the look. lol plus used r/t exhaust i could prolly pick up cheep.
Maybe it's the 4 banger "ricer" sound you don't like... maybe check out this youtube video, it's one of our members here, but forgot his name and exactly which exhaust he put on, but it is a dual... I think it sounds pretty good

..and there are a number of posts here about putting SRT exhausts on regular SXTs... just do a search... pretty sure the SRT exhuasts are made and tuned for the turbo, they do fit but are extreamly loud...think they are 3 inch pipes, where the regulars are like 2.25 or so.... and yea, finding one in a salvage yard or used is not an easy task...
HEY ITS ME!!! My first autocross on my second run....

and I have to dis-agree airwolf.

Its too open and sounds a little on the import side for me.

I love my vibrant... but it doesnt really add much performance. Makes it sound much nicer though

SRT-4 exhaust is okay. It's kinda like the cheap *** way to upgrade.

I would have to disagree you ones who agree that the srt exhaust is loud never heard it with a glasspack its pretty cool sounding not like without a glasspack . That I will disagree I love my custom srt exhaust sounds like no other . Yeah it may be the cheap way to go but it does the job at my shows . I get alot of cool exhaust setup and nice sounding exhaust also.

Cause they are hard to come by cheap . More like 150 to 200 bucks for one and well srt4 one would be under 100 bucks shipped and way better lookin .

I was looking for an R/T exhaust like crazy, but I could never find one. If I could have done it all over again, I would have gotten an R/T Exhaust.

The SRT exhaust with a glasspack is not a great solution, but it is A solution. I personally think it sounds like crap in the lower gears, kind of drones on and on...just sounds kinda boring. It's a pretty clean sound, not all ricey and backfiring when you're crusing along. When you rev, it sounds really deep and harmonous. Nonetheless, the R/T is a lot nicer. The stupid glasspack sometimes ticks when you get out of the car, giving your hot female companions that idea that your car is a POS. Pair that up with your Motor Mount inserts that make your car vibrate like hell and you're already one step in the wrong direction to getting laid. jk.

I hear the R/T rusts or something like that. But it's gotta be an overall easier setup than the SRT exhaust. I STILL can't get my tips straight and it's driving me crazy.

Never had the ticking with my glasspack I got the best glasspack though and not those cheapy cherry bombs like most on here have . Plus mine gives a better sound overall to the srt stocker and I wouldnt have another exhaust setup for my sxt other than my 1st favorite exhaust is the borla dual .

I have got a custom fabricated vibrant dual exhaust system that I had fit into an r/t bumper that I put onto my neon, if you are interested that is.
