i have an 04 sxt just like the look of duals anyone got there old stock r/t exhaust they wanna get rid of?

 

there are a few options on modernperformance.com, dont know if you are looking for the r/t or just a dual exhaust.

 

thanks but i dont want any sound. kim a v8 guy and i cant stand the sound of a 4 banger with exhaust just my opinion. i just like the look. lol plus used r/t exhaust i could prolly pick up cheep.

 

Good luck at finding one of those pretty rare to find at least when I 1st got mine for 80 bucks shipped and than I went to the srt4 exhaust since the r/t was too boring for my taste . You might try ebay or neon org.

 

does the srt4 exhaust fit? without any modification? also whats it sound like? loud?

 

Yeah its loud but if you put a glasspack on it has a very awesome sound . I love my srt exhaust with glasspack and it fits without any problems .

 

Maybe it's the 4 banger "ricer" sound you don't like... maybe check out this youtube video, it's one of our members here, but forgot his name and exactly which exhaust he put on, but it is a dual... I think it sounds pretty good

..and there are a number of posts here about putting SRT exhausts on regular SXTs... just do a search... pretty sure the SRT exhuasts are made and tuned for the turbo, they do fit but are extreamly loud...think they are 3 inch pipes, where the regulars are like 2.25 or so.... and yea, finding one in a salvage yard or used is not an easy task...

 

Look in my gallery take it from someone that has a srt exhaust on there sxt its not really loud if you put somekind of glasspack on it like I and some others on here have done and its pretty easy to put on also my husband put it on without any trouble within 10 minutes and you can find a srt exhaust pretty cheap shipped over on srt forums . I got mine free since it came off my acr srt4 I put a borla on her and the glasspack was 80 buck installed .

 

i just want the dual r/t muffler no sound at all.. not to sound like a ***** but i own an 11 second 88 mustang bracket car that i race at the local tracks and i am a die hard v8 and i just cant justify tryin to make my lil neon that gets 33mpg to go faster id rather take the money and make my stang a lil faster i just want the neon to look a lil bit nicer for a lil bit of money... thanks for the help though i appreaciate it. thatb r/t muffler will just bolt right to my stock exhaust correct?

 

I just got my srt exhaust for looks since Im mostly into shows its going to be way cheaper than an r/t dual and much easier to get your hands on . The srt exhaust looks alot better than the r/t anyways. Just put a glasspack on there and youll have a sweet soundin exhaust .
