Default Apexi Neo /SAFC II

I am considering getting the Apexi Neo or the SAFC-II to control my a/f's and the like.... but my question is will it actually work on my 2001 ES? or will it just become a useless POS.....?

It'll work. It's a lot of money so if I were u I wouldn't get it unless I need it. What mods do u have?

I still haven't had mine installed yet. Other things are getting installed on my car right now. The only reason I got it was b/c my car sometimes stalls out b/c of fuel. My guy said he'll look at it after installing this other stuff.

A SAFC can only be used to pull fuel out on our cars, you cannot add fuel... I posted a quick how-to in this section somewhere... but it was for turbo aplications. although, it has some basic usage info.

well what the hell is the point of that then.... i mean our cars run rich anyways so i guess i could lean the car out just a bit across the whole rpm band... which could give me some HP here and there prolly like 5-10hp if i was lucky..... gah sometimes i just hate having a neon... i mean its either you want to do one thing to it but then you have to do 345345234234 other things before or along with it.... and it ends up costing much more than its worth..... its like there just aren't any simple little things you can get to make some more power here and there its all good though.....

your better off buying a wide band A/F gauge first... a real one, not a ricer light show one. Find out what A/F you are at WOT and that will tell you if you need to lean it out any.

My 03 ran a perfect 13.5 at WOT with almost every bolt when it was N/A. no need to pull on mine. What year is yours?

2001 ES with 5 sp. man. CAI, 1.6" or so drop, booger shifter bushings, vibrant dual exhaust, and by next week i should have MMI's, and over the summer i may end up with a 55mm TB among other things....

I was told that the SAFC can add fuel too.
I have the AEM wideband a/f gauge to go along with it.

ok now why is the TPS connection connected to the MAP sensor? i mean why wouldn't you put it on the TP sensor? wouldn't that allow you to control fuel b/c then you can compensate for how much the throttle is actually open?
