yellow03r/t, did you ordered it from moparsupercenter? I ordered mine form them and they had to ordered it from mopar or something.. so it took like 2 weeks before they got the parts and then another of almost 1 week to get here... so i waited close to 1 month before getting it. if you ordered from them then give them a call... and they'll let you know whether they've shipped it or not. It's worth it

For paint, if you are doing it yourself, I recommend Paintworldinc.com. That stuff is great.

The project is SUPER easy. If you dont mind making a few holes in your car for them, they are the most beautiful add ons a neon can get. You do indeed have to take off the from and rear bumpers, but that was EASY!!! I mean, Its like 8 bolts?! So, I recommend doing it youself over getting someone else to do it. Its easy, its cheaper, and you know it got done RIGHT.

PEOPLE WHO HAVE SEEN MY CAR FOR YEARS, I REPEAT YEARS, when I told them I did something (being vauge as can be, not telling them what it was) and they came up and saw it, they asked me if it was my tail lights!! HAHA!! It is a look that it should have had from the facotry, and thats why I love it.

Guess I will stay stock but with a spankin brand new front end and left side fender and drivers side door all freshly painted and noway Im going to mess with my new front bumper for a mopar kit I just need the rear bumper to replace my stock one to fit my srt exhaust better anys if I could find away not to take off the front at all than I would get one .

Ok here is the scoop...I have two choices. I can get a whole different body kit i.e. the EVO V Kit which I feel looks really nice or the lip kit which also looks nice. The downside on the lip kit is I own a second gen from 2000 and am not too keen on upgrading the front bumper. My point is will the rest of the lip kit work on my car??? oh and it a a Highline trim option.

So wait, someone here posted this, or e-mailed me this...and it doesn't sound as easy at 8 bolts... what about the headlights, marker lights, and these hard to get to bolts in this description?...who's right?

1) open hood
2) take off 8mm screw/bolt thingys going across the top of the bumper(3) and the bottom(3)
3) remove stock headlights by taking off the (2) 8mm bolts holding them in then pulling back the bumper so you can wiggle them out.( its easier of you have someone to help you so they pull the bumper and you take out the headlight and dont worry, you wont break the bumper)
4) take off the clips from the headlights so you can get them out of the way and tuck the plugs away.
5) take off side markers, if you cant figure that out... wow(lol take off the clips through the headlight holes)
6) using a t-20 torx socket take off the two front screws in the wheel well. or use a small screw driver and dont mess up the screws.
7) turn the wheel all the way to the right and take out the passenger(left) wheel well plug thingys(2) they are infront of the wheel
8) repeat step 7 but for the other side
9) carefully not to scratch thr bumper pull the wheel wells out of the lip of the bumper so they are just hanging there(might want to straighten the wheels first)
10)now for the fun part. using a 10mm wrench or socket or whatever you can use to make it work, reach inside one of teh headlight holes and start taking off the 3 bolts holding the bumper to the fender(each side). there is not much room to work with this so it takes a long time.
11) look at the bottom of the bumper and notice how that black air dam sort of thingy is on the bumper( bumper wraps around below it) and make sure you put it back like that so you dont put it all back together and then have to take the stupid 3 nuts off again
12) install lip kit

Here is the un-install scoop for the front end and then the rear.

Front:

Remove the three bolts under the hood
Romove each fender well that is up against the front bumper (dont have to remove the wheels).
Remove the three bolts on each side.

Rear:

Remove the rear sidewalls in the fender well.
Remove the three bolts on each side
Remove the three up by the trunk lid.

Thats it

I might be missing a few but I am slightly buzzed (long night.)

ITS NOT HARD!!!!! I promise!

as far as the headlights go, you dont have to remove them, and all you havce to do is turn the side-marker bulbs out of their holes (they turn to lock... so all you have to do is turn them and they pull out.) The same goes with the light that lights up your rear license plate

You dont have to undo ANYTHING!

Ok, post revival.... I attempted to tackle the front bumper removal to put on the front lip today... looked like rain, but I thought I would give it a shot...

I found most of the bolts, but was trying to figure out the hidden bolts... I found this post and I think (looking at the bold print above) yer talking about taking off the black plastic in side the front fender well to get to those hidden bolts? (instead of removing the headlights and going in thru the headlight holes)
How do you get this black plastic piece off? are they clips?
