Ahhh...I hit the speed limiter
Me and my buddy were flying on the highway, both of us haulin ***. I'm winding 4th gear out, I hit 120 and then guess what happens. The car just stops accelerating, stupid speed limiter. Grrr....I was in 4th and still had a little bit left. I still had all of 5th left to go. I really need a new pcm, hopefully someone comes out with one.[:@]

Yeah that would be nice, I wish someone could crack the code and make something like hypertech does, where you can program it. What would be really cool is using a PDA. I found software that loads to your PDA and comes with an ODBII adapter, need to order for your correct PDA, You can hook up and will give you your times and calculate your HP and torque and a bunch of other stuff. And of course all the basic codes and descriptions of the codes by downloading the table for your vehicle. But won't reprogram the PCM, which would be the ideal thing to do. SO you can get rid of the Speedo Limiter. Damn if I only had the money to buy the full version of Visual Studio .NET (need full version for PDA programming) and a Mopar Performance PCM for my car and take the old PCM and try and crack the programming code.[X(]

RE: Ahhh...I hit the speed limiter
Depends really....I've beat him in the 1/4 at the track, but I've also lost a lot to him there. We both want to take it from a 40mph roll........which would be right in my 2nd gears wheelhouse. I think he would probably just keep ahead of me and probably slightly pull away from me, but I'll never know until we try it. He runs in the mid 15s to around 16....which is about what I should run once I get tires.
