does anything think a pacesetter header will make a difference on a neon r/t 2002?

Sell me your stock R/t header.

I've been looking into headers all day...

I had the Pacesetter header and they are horrible in quality. I ended up replacing it and I'm going to replace my Pacesetter cat-back too. I'd stick to the stock header on the RT before going to the aluminized steel Pace****ter header. If u want the best performing header I'd get the MPX Long tube header if I were u. It has great quality and it's stainless steel which will last forever.

I am gonna go with the OBX header with no cat. I want a louder roar. Let me know what happenes with your pacesetters. I have seen them but not to sure about them. I guess if u still want your car legal than get the pacesetter. lol

Putting the Pacesetter on your R/T, or any STH, would be a downgrade. The only exhaust header upgrades for the R/T that are better then stock would be a longtube header or midlength header.

A longtube header is fine as long as you keep your cat converter...otherwise it gets really raspy.

A muffler shop could do it very easy...its just a matter of cutting a little section from the midpipe right after the header and putting the cat in...

it wouldn't involve cutting into the actual header would it? itseemspossible to install a long tube header and still not throw any CEL codes...if so what the hell have i been waiting for!
