what are the best?
Eibach, Hotchkis, H&R, and Tein are the best IMO.

Do not buy these sleeved springs, they arent worth the packaging they come in...

Its not very difficult, but if you've never done anything with suspension it could take quite a bit of time. I have a basic "how to" posted at the bottom of the 2nd Gen FAQ and Performance Thread...

what kind of shop will do it ?
Any tire shop, or any auto shop that isnt type specific (i.e mufflers/exhaust only).

and how much?
Your probably looking at anywhere from $250-$400 for installation, not including the cost of the actual springs.

i swapped my springs this weekend - yay! - (thx Kolevra for the fast responses)

I can't really say the Kazera springs are the best out there, but the rate isn't too harsh, I haven't bottomed out, and the price is right! $49+shipping is way cheap for a full set. The lowest "pro"install quote I got for installation was $40/strut which isn't that bad. Worst was $540 from PepBoys, but honestly I think they guy had no idea what I was asking - I think the quote was to replace the springs with their parts or something....
