I was supposed to do my cooler today, but my gf wanted me to take her out. I am probably going to take my front bumper on and mount it as close as I can to the tranny. I have a feeling that the stock tranny hose isn't going to fit to the cooler, although the one they supplied is plenty long to run back. I spray painted it black to match the rest of my grill, haha.

Can you PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD get me some pictures, I don't like the worded descriptions on all these tranny cooler posts, pictures would speak a thousand words for those like me...about to install them.

They quoted me 40 for the install, but I preffer to do these things myself.

THEN TO THE BUTT DYNO!

I will get some pictures on there for you as i can. I should have done that. About the cold weather, I think you can pick out the size of your cooler according to the weather you drive.

Hmm, I've been tempted to get a Trans. Cooler, even more so now with my turbo project.

My only problem is wondering if it will get in the way of the setup I.E Intercooler, etc.

your right, but it should be somewhere where the cool air can pass by it.

Just an update about my tranny cooler. So far I hadn't had any problems. I was tempted to push the car and just redline it everytime. It wont budge, the tranny is sollid as a rock and shifts like magic. I am still planing on getting an overhaul pack for it and maybe a new valve system too. I heard it will make you peal about every time.

Yup yup tranny cooler good....... makes it shift way better.... but as said before, now that its started getting cold 20-30 deg. F i've noticed that it lags shifting into gear. For example, i go from parkk to reverse and it takes about 3 sec...... maby not the cooler but it did not do this last winter......

anyways, i saved a bunch of money by switching to Geico Auto Insurance!!!!!

One thing you have to do is drive it nice and easy at cold start. Then when your temp is up a bit go for it, have fun.

Once it got cold...my trans doesn't shift into 4th on the highway sometimes. Might be the tranny cooler, or the fact that i'm jumping on the highway 2 minutes after it's been turned on.

Yea i ran into that. 2 min is a bit short for a warm up when you get on the highway you push that cold air that much faster that much sooner. I think one day I am gona het me a fuel to air ration gauge and an engine and tranny temp guages in a pillar pod. just somehting to give me feedback and i can keep tabs on that stuff. I hate the temp gauge now cuz it tells me ****.
