13.99 or quicker (any car, convertible or hardtop)[*]Need a SNELL-approved helmet, 1990 or newer rating
[ul][/ul]
11.49 or quicker[*]Approved 5-point harness[*]Approved 6-point roll cage[*]Transmission safety blanket or approved bellhousing

The NHRA ET breakpoint for the above is 11.99. Cars between 11.50 and 11.99 are highly encouraged to step up to the better equipment

I'm bored at work. Guess NHRA says she should have at least a helmet, anda roll cage would be a very good idea, if not required if she was in the mid to low 11's.

Airwolf I've been in your situation many times with so called "tuners" who think they are so badass (not calling ANYONE on this forum that either! that includes graphite...so I'm definitly not taking sides...he just corrects people...including myself . By the way graphite, thanks for making your point the other day. I had no idea what I was looking at until you explained it.) that they can pick on those who are still learning (myself). You should have seen the argument on myspace. Actually, maybe you shouldn't. Well I got into a "myspace battle" with a local "tuner" who I later found out does hardly ANY of his own work. Mostly gets one of my good friends cousins to do all his work and turns around and calls himself a tuner...haha what a joke! Don't get me wrong though, he knows his stuff, but doesn't do it himself. And he completely dominated me in our little battle...someone came along and helped me out but at the same time said "hey kid just chill...you keep digging yourself deeper and deeper into a hole each time you post. These guys know their stuff." I took his advice and quit posting. Just be careful out there.

I'll decline on commenting on that one.

Good points though.
