yup sounds good to me...go that route...throttle body is okay...but i would probably trade that for a UDP or a cam....you can find some cams about the same price as the TB or not too much more.

hey everyone its been a while since I have logged on here, but I was considering your possible options, most of which have been covered here already, but I am also offering the suggestions of a good port and polish and possibly, if it can be done on a neon, (i think it woud work on any engine) you could also increase the bore and stroke of your engine. Also you could get a stroker crank and make a custom stroker for your neon, but I have no idea what that would cost.
