So I'm pretty glad to be back. I have to post up pics of what I've done to my SXT so far this summer, and summer is obviously almost over. I wanted to post my accomplishments this summer but also see what the rest of you have accomplished? With all the hectic tragic events of this summer I was surprised to even do anything to my car, but I'm glad I found time. Actually it helped me when I would be working on the car it was like de-stressing compared to being in the hospital visiting Dad all the time--it got my mind off of everything.

I managed to finally do some things to the car I've been waiting for. I put Kumho's Ecsta AST's, painted up the calipers and drums whichI posted on here earlier in the summer, a windshield strip (silver to match the car), 3d taillights (bought off AirWolf, p.s.--Thanks again!), Bosch Iridium Spark Plugs, Mopar SideSkirts, and a rear sway bar.

I still have a few other mods in store before the close of summer in 2 weeks (actually less)... I was looking for a silver srt4 wing, anyone know some good spots? I also plan on putting springs on the car the last weekend in August--with these and the sway bar is there anything else I have to change/upgrade? I have to check out my fog lights because they're not working and I want to get them back working before the winter, I think I may just have to change a relay, it's the 3rd one since I installed the lights in February, any ideas why the relay may continue to be dying on me?

Possible fall modifications: CAI (finally), HID's and halo headlights.

If anyone could answer the questions I'd greatly appreciate it, but also I'd like to hear how the rest of you did in completing your summer goals for your cars... Did any of you exceed what you wanted? Pictures are needed! I have to take some soon as soon as it stops raining!

 

well all i accomplished was eyelids ( bought off airwolf, thanx again ), srt rear section (still waiting on it [sm=devilgrin.gif]), painted my calipers also, K&N air filter, and im getting ready just wating on money to buy da srt-4 spoiler.
i have da tokico blues (not installed)
and for fall i plan on: new paint job, halos, sway bar, and CAI. maybe upgrade my header and get a R/T header.

 

Hows your dad doing and Im glad you like your new tails. I would get the tokiko springs and blues for your drop along with your rear strut bar which I need to do when I do my drop. You might find a silver srt wing on ebay or srt forums. Cant wait to see what your ride looks like now with the new stuff on.

summer has been over for me. today was my second day of skool. all these new students at my college are pissing me off. dey dont kno how to drive wit their fancy cars. [sm=icon_rtfm.gif]

Hey, does anyone know if its possible to get an aftermarket moonroof? When I got the alarm installed, the shop said they weren't sure because its so small.

My plans are srt turbo swap and tranny maybe may just go show mods only. flip flop hood, 17inch rims and tires , airbagged, ghost custom cuda stripes, vertical front and shaved rear, side exit dual exhaust, 4 way speakers, amp and indash dvd player. Custom leather front and rear seats.

 

Summer is over? Back to college...? I wish. Well, I'm not so sure about that. I don't get vacations anymore. Well not many of them at least. Work FTL. I have done pretty much nada to my car this summer, aside from a bit of maintenance. I'm hoping to put lip kit on, but I think that may wait until next spring. No sense in putting on for all the snow that will be here in a couple months. Then I'll be a snow plow.....

 

Thats what Im thinkin about all my mods waiting till spring and just do the speakers and amp and indash dvd player and I need new tires and rims cant wait for those . But the drop and vertical doors and shaved rear and new graphics are waitin until 2008. Might work on the turbo inbetween fall and winter though and the flip flop hood. Lip kit would be smart to do in the spring.
