Default CAI and rain??

Alright.

Tommorow I plan to do an oil change on my car, and perhaps a transmition flush too...
While Im under there, I thought I might have a look at my CAI and the routing.

But I have a question..
How do you deal with rain??.
Doesnt water get on the filter, and eventualy make its way to the engine?? (in a very minor form, like a thin mist perhaps)
Wouldnt that harm the engine?

Where are your filters located? (pics would be nice. to fraggle_a@hotmail)

I dont really wana get it wrong if I do decide to move it. Its current location seems ot be attracting a lot of dirt causing me to clean the filter every 2 months. (or is that normal?)

k&n filters are oil filters which means water is not getting through unless its completely submerged, which is very hard to do. i have mine right behind the foglight and ive never had a problem with it.

Just another 2 cents...

When I took my stock CAI off I saw a puddle of water sitting in the intake manifold. Its going to get it either way...The stock CAI has a filter too. There isn't anything you can do...stock or aftermarket.

There shouldn't be water in there from the stock intake.
