Ok I'm finally getting my halo projectors this week [sm=coolness.gif]but I'm considering getting new bulbs for them. I know nothing about headlamps, not to mention my car didn't come with an owners manual! All I know is I kinda like the hyper whites and the blue tinted ones. What kind should I get? Any advice?

 

i think they are h1 bulbs for the older halos too

 

Get Sylvania silverstars, they are a bit pricey but they output is great. they'll be more of a white than a yellowish that the stock ones look like

 

Are those really worth it? They're like fifty bucks after tax. Another fifty and I could have some decent HID's ($130)

 

I have the new headlights from sylinvina which you can get from walmart for 30 bucks and they are just as nice as hids . Hids are to overdone for me and Ive had them in my 96 and to me they were crap for the price.

Airwolf...halogen doesn't compare to hids. If you think they do, you don't have hids then. I have tried nokya and apc bulbs. Both were the hyperwhite color. They were about the same as far as output and color. My hids are definitely whiter then any halogen bulb i've used. And it is far bluer (if thats a word) then any halogen too. Plus FTW, the lighting is probably twice as good as any halogen I've had.

 

what style headlights you need? H1,2,3?

 

I have no idea. I just know I want some headlamps that willlook great inmy new/arriving soonprojectors, something bright without the HID kit. I'm considering blue....So whats H1,2 or 3 mean?
