So I have a pretty dumb question about rotors I was looking at the drill designs and I was wondering are more holes better? like the 2 pics one rotor has 2 lines of holes and the other has only one... is that gonna help or hurt because of the less surface area?

Those pictures arent of the actual products there selling...

(As far as cross-drilled AND slotted rotors are concerned) As for more holes being better, some would argue that more drilled holes in the rotor surface equals more cooling, which in turn means better breaking because of the heat dissipation...While others argue that more holes equals less rotor surface, which means less braking power.

 

I say they look better than OEM rotors, and if lamborghinis and porsches use them, so will my damn cheap *** neon!

I've had my Ebay cross-dilled/slotted rotors on the R/T for almost 40k miles and I have zero complaints whatsoever, so that should say something.

For all for like a year ago I think I paid $170 with shipping (rotors weigh a ton!)...

I've beena round, just havent been posting as much since its been really busy these past few weeks because of the move, the new job, school, etc.

 

yep i hear ya. lots changed around here. i sold my neon and bought an srt-4 like everyone else.

 

I know what you mean, I didnt want to follow the zombie crowds who buy the SRT-4's so I went a litte more original...I sold my Neon for a 1977 Ford Pinto Roadrunner Edition (the rarest Pinto ever created) with the extended cab. Its a sweet ride yo.
