JE piston/Eagle rod rebuild
high compression motors can be turbo's... its not recommended though. My buddy's civic is running 11 psi on pump gas with a JDM Si B16. 10.4:1 313whp / 228wtq He has a full stand alone which is key. Without F.A.S.T., AEM, or MegaSquirt you will blow up your motor. That high of compression on a FMU style fuel set-up is asking for trouble.
On a side note, if you ultimately want to go turbo... don't waste your money on things you will not need when you do. ie: aggressive cams, header, CAI, ect...

Most people say that for every one whole increase in the CR you'll get 10 horsepower, but thats very subjective because a ton of other factors come into play.
so what would I need to do in order to run 12.5:1 other than the rebuild kit on modern performance? I figured I could get the DIS 2+ to retard the timing...would I have to use MS to run that kind of compression?
I wouldnt go that high unless this is only going to be a strip vehicle. The highest I would go to still have the car daily driveable would be 11.5:1...plus, I'm almost positive that if you run 12+ CR you would need 110 octane fuel at all times.
