AWWW good to see the fam getting along!!

im with mikey, lower it and pvc a intake, and yes its reliable, thats what ihave and it looks great...... and if you think about it might be better. A metal intake conducts heat alot more then plastic does, you can make it too the same exactshape as a commercial intake!!!

I'd say go with a drop and get rid of that nasty wheel gap, but on the other hand CAI intake does hardly anything for hp gains but sounds awesome at WOT. What would your options be as far as spring and shocks, struts?

Have you looked into the Eibach pro-kit. Lowers the car about 1.5" all around.. http://eibach.com/cgi-bin/htmlos.exe...1366300028459?

Shocks and struts are usually recommended I went with KYB AGX's i'm sure you could run GR-2's. You'll need an alignment after you lower it, also might need a camber kit to sure if you can bring it back to center without one.. I found some springs on ebay for $186. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/EIBAC...spagenameZWD1VNot sure if your safe with ebay ones though i'm not positive if their legit or not. If you type in Eibach pro-kit 2820.140 in google you'll be able to find some reputbale souces.

The KYB GR2's arent any better then the OEM struts when installing lowering springs. The best struts available to be used in conjunction with lowering springs for a Neon are Tokico HP Blues. The struts will run you $255 shipped and the Eibach Prokit should be around $200. You could always just keep the stock struts and see how long they last for, but theres no guarantee.

And we dont have shocks, only struts...
