Installing is much easier than you think. Just take it one step at a time. When I installed mine is was overwhelmed looking at all the directions, but it's well worth it and plus you get to know your vehicel a little better and can take the credit of doing it yourself.

yeah, i agree with nate there... definitly change your struts yourself... all you need is some common household tools... only special tool that you need is a spring compressor that you can rent from advanceautoparts or some auto store. Took me 2 days to change all four... and i took my time on it too... also included was shopping time for the tools in the middle of the installation. Oh yeah... i did all of this on the parking lot outside my apartment. Only thing i couldn't do it myself was the nut on the top of the strut... i brought it to an autoshop and they took it off with an impact gun for free (takes like 10 seconds)... i make a trip to the autoshop with each strut because i only have one spring compressor... (all in two days also). So i vote save the 100 bucks for installation on the cai or something else . I spent 255 for the struts and 50 on the springs (i got the special clearance kazera lowering springs though).

^ Agreed. I feel people need to learn to do some of this on your own. Gives you pride in your ride...hey I rhymed. In reality the strut/spring change is pretty easy. With all the right tools in hand it can be done in a few hours. The more you know about your car the better off you are. Making your own CAI isn't a big deal either. If you make your own and don't like it for some reason you didn't spend much and you learned something. Give it a shot
