Default Borla Exhausts...

OK guys i need help. I want to buy me a new exhaust system but i saw two exhausts at MODERNPERFORMANCE one is for the SRT-4 and the other one is for the SOHC Neon. The exhaust for the SRT-4 is like 380 dollars while the one for the "stock" neon is like 640 dolars. I have a 2002 SXT.btw... Neon btw. Why is there such a huge difference between them ?? can i get the one for the SRT-4??? would i have any problems installin it into my 02 dodge neon sxt??? THANX..

It will fit the mopar borla on your sxt . I had a acr srt4 and before I put it on my acr I put it on my 04 sxt and fit on nicely just like the srt4stock exhaust fitmit. The mopar borla sounds pretty nice on a sxt neon . Have fun with it I sure did on my acr.

I dont know why things have to be expensive for our neons since they quit makin neons anyways stuff should be cheaper . Only thing I would say about that borla is cause it is new for modern . I didnt think the mopar borla srt4 exhaust were that cheap.

you might have to change the hangers on the srt mopar borla exhaust because the tips of the exhaust might be too close to the bumper and cause it to melt. Its prob be going to really loud since you dont have a turbo.....I know the borla exhaust for the reg neon is really loud.

Loud is awesome . Just add a glasspack of somekind to tame the borla down if you dont like the sound.

So theoretically this could fit an 2001 Neon ES right? If it does fit, wouldn't there be a problem with the SRT-4 exhausts dual tips and the bumper? Wouldn't you have to have cut outs on the bumper for the tips? If this could work, it would be awesome!

Yeah the mopar borla will fit even if you dont cut your bumper my srt4 stock is simular and I never did my cutouts . But you can make cutouts if your afraid your bumper is going to melt. Im actually going to have my husband cut my holes on my mopar lip kit rear bumper to make my new exhaust setup look better. Whatever exhaust I go with. Im still lookin for a 200.00 to 250.00 mopar borla shipped used on ebay or srt forums .
