I think u have to get white leds in order for it to look blue. The white in there now is just a regular bulb so it doesn't look blue. I've heard this works the way spikey said.

Ok i have done both these.. ill upload some pics here...
for the gauge.. what I would recomend is using 5 blue leds and 3 white.. only use the white where the red is.. this gives a better looking blue IMO..
For the HVAC i custom did my own buy gluing in 5mm LEDs.. they are very bright and not the most even glow they could be but the pics make it look worse..
Everything Done..

Hvac in 3 parts.. backside with leds off.. back side with leds on.. and then the final installed look..(now i did redo the power and stuff.. this was just for testing with the power supply comming threw the vents..lol

Gague.. unfortunantly i have no updated pics after putting the white LEDs in for teh redlines.. but here with all blue LEDs..

To get the HVAC control panal thingy off.. you need to pop out the two vents.. pop in a flat screw drive in a bottom corner and just pop it up and pull it out.. at the top inside of both holes there are two screws to remove.. take thoes out.. then the rest is just pulling it out (there are lots of clips so dont just rip it off)..
PS: you got pm regarding my footwell lighting

IMO the HVACs are too bright.... but i like the guages

so I should use all whites or only whites for the redline and blues for the rest?
