Swap to blue guages
if you want blue guages use WHITE leds for all bulbs behind the cluster (it looks better on the red of the tach, and on the orange sticks), i think it's 7 or 8 depending if your cluster has a tach or not. i've used these http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2x-25...mZ270179011320, (wow thats long) and they're bright as hell and evenly light, i'm thinking of trying something like this, http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/194-1...spagenameZWDVWfor slightly dimmer light. the reason white lights makes the guages blue, is there is a blue film backing on the guages that makes them look green with the incandescent bulbs. don't know if the film is removable, though red leds, because all they create is the red wavelength, may be enough by themselves to give the guages a red glow.
put white bulbs in like i said. there is a blue film on the back of the guages. the bulbs that are in there ate not leds so they shine yellow, so yellow+blue=green so green-yellow=blue
Here's some pics of mine... I even changed the blinkers so they are blue as well and added another one for the high beam to get that brighter...My camrea isn't that good or I just can't use it worth of crap at night, because the dome light and trunk light are alot brighter than pictured and look really nice.
