Kind of sad but kind of cool that my 04 sxt turned over to 100,000 miles at 3:33 pm this afternoon. I bought her with 14miles . I will probably have her over 200,000 miles or so.

 

Damn i just turned 40,000 in my 2001. lol Living in the city, i don't use it much... no need. I use it for groceries and meets/cruises.

When i lived on the mainland i drove a minimum of 100 miles a day so i can feel ya. I sold my 2003 in 2006 with 80,000 miles on it. I would have been as high if i didn't buy my first gen to drive to work with.

Well my husband works like 20 minuites away from where we live and Im a taxi for my son and my inlaws live 3and 1/2hrs away and this until we get a truck in a few days is all we have . I have new stuff in the engine since the 1st accident so hopefully she will stay and really good shape engine wise.

I hear you on the taxi part, we have an 05 Neon with not as many miles but with kids in sports, church activities etc, we rack up the miles. But...we get 36-38 avg mpg in the bugger.

Shows that some TLC and these cars roll a long time.

TIMING BELT!!!!!!!!! There's a guy that recently snapped his, he had 99k

 

Lucky for my sxt she has a brand new timing belt due to my husbands accident.

hahahaha thats nothing!!! Iwas right about145,000 in my 2003 last august, (never lost a belt or had a major problem with theengine at all)then i lost the tranny (for the 3rd time), gota motor and tranny with 5,000 miles and dropped that all in, and now im at 40,123..... OMG!!! THATS OVER 46,000 MILES A YEAR!!!!!!!!!
