Blow drier, WD-40 and a rag.

dont use WD-40 it doesn't come off and can become corrosive... use a mild polishing compound to get the outlines out and as for the residue... i would use good ole' soap and water and a towel or you can just use the hair dryer to get it pliable and just use your nail(which is what i did, and it came out great).... anyways good luck

I have a '00 neon as well, don't take off the door guards and emblems unless you plan on doing a new paint job. The paint around the emblems will be very different from the paint that's been covered. I don't care if you get all that adhesive off, it'll look worse than stock.

I took off the ES, and just bought some polishing compound to remove the outline. Funny enough I couldn't find it, I've washed the car a couple times and we've had some steady rain since. So, I finally have gained the ***** to remove all the emblems and door guards. I'll try and get some before and after pics.

A hot day (hair drier substitutes well I'm told), a plastic paint scraper, fish line, and Goo Gone.
