you have one polite mechanic there, someone at our shop would have called you a dumb *** for waiting that long to change your oil... kiddingjust ask him how the internals looked once he had it open.

 

He's going to save the parts for me to inspect...I'm just as curious as you guys.

 

NHARINGTON...your right on man. I pulled the spark plug wires...didn't see anything BUT my Mechanic and I just pulled them again and wesaw a small drop of oil on the base of the spark plug wire...we ran aletter opener down there pulled it out and there is indeed oil around the base of the #2 spark plug! The metal tube is sitting a little higher than the others too...we pressed it back down.
