just beautiful

I am in agreement with 03. You shouldn't see problems with an UDP. Some people do, and some people don't. I haven't gotten a UDP yet... simply because my pockets usually are empty... and when they aren't I am saving up for something...

I want one though...

id the UDP smaller than the stock one? if so it would be spining the belt alot less therefore everything that gets power from the belt it's efficiently will be cut dramatically weather or not the other pulleys are changed, simple pully theory or should I say rotational thorty... the bigger the wheel or pully, the more distance it will travel with one rotation, the smaller the less the distance. say the pully is 10 inches around, that means for every rev the belt moves 10 inches, and same with an 8 inches, it will move 8 inches/ revolution therefor reducing efficiency, turning the belt less and there for turning the other pulleys less

So, in conclusion, IF the pully is smaller than stock then it will reduce the efficentcy of all the accessories on that belt. that means, AC, alt, pwr stearing, everything due to the belt spinning slower because of a smaller UDP

EDIT: wow, I think I just outsmarted 03RT

if you get one, get another battery and a larger alternator or laternator pulley to make up for the loss you will get with a UDP

Read my post above, what is said there is proven and fact!

i'd rather not spend the money on all that lol.i have come to realize that the neon is just slow, actually i would say quick but by no means fast. i'm just saving money for a FI setup, the bolt on mods that are available really don't produce the "power" everyone is lookin for. and many of them are useless if you go the turbo route. any way i enjoy making my neon LOOK nice, i'd rather have a bunch of girls around my car because it is nice than a bunch of guys cuz its fast. i do wanna go turbo though but that won't be for a pretty good while.....my mind is constantly changin though lol.

So what's better? Actually, what are the must haves with the biggest gains (aside from turbo) and what really works? I'd like to know.

I've put a CAI on but no Exhaust. Is the Exhaust worth it? I wouldn't wanta loud one either I drive my car 100's of miles a day and need it to be quiet.
