Default Small car alarm issue

When I first got my alarm, it would flash the parking lights when arming/disarming. Recently it stopped. I want it to work again! All my fuses are fine and all but one bulb is fine. Any suggestions? Its an Avital 2 stage alarm.

i have the same problem, but could never find the "brain" of the alarm to check the fuses, and haven't had a chance to take it to the installer. the alarm itself might have a fuse (thats not under the fuse box or on the side of the drivers side panel) but like i said, i never personally found it.

it's an aftermarket alarm, they're all different, It's probably a loose connection to the wires coming off the headlight switch, should be a connection coming off the black w/ yellow stripe wire near the base of the column, check it it's probably loose. be sure to check fuses too there should be at least one on the alarm unit itself.

well if your looking for the brain check under the drivers side part of the dash, it's the only place they can actually put it plus it saves on cost when it comes to wires.

Cool, I'll check it out since I'm gonna be out working on the car later anyways.

i installed my alarm. most installers put it underneath the steering wheel. right above the pedals behind the panel. there should be a box there. check around that area. it's the easiest place to put them, without having too much difficulty since all the access to the wires are there.

do you have an alarm that remote starts too? then it'll be where i'm telling you.

No remote start.
I found the "brain" of the alarm system and there is only one obvious fuse. Its not blown. What else should I look for?
