well wat i do is go to the car wash and pressure wash it with the car on and i put it on engine cleaner and then wait a few seconds and then rinse it off ...

used to do? why you stop? and I'm unsure about that pressure washer.. will it do any damage?

I've never cleaned the engine on my current neon. I barely clean the outside. lol

just buy a can of engine degreaser, you can get it anywhere. spray it on and let it sit fora minuteor two.then just hose it off.

yea just cover stuff u dont want to get wet like the alt, battery, belts, and fuse box. thats what i did

For my sxt and 1st gen neons I do them by hand wash and wipe everypart down by hand doesnt take that long . I have to for shows. I never do the carwash thing cause I dont wanna hurt anything eletrical in my engine bay.
