I would like to.... I lost my wheel sponsor late last year due to my car not being finished. Its the price you gotta pay sometimes... I haven't shown my car yet this year, I hate going to show on my own... it get boring. Plus it doesn't help that I'm a perfectrionist to my car and I feel it isn't show worthy yet..... (in my eyes)

Good Luck to being out there, I would love to go, just not sure. I might fly out there to see my buddies at SEMA, and I might shoot for next year then.

i agree going to shows alone really do suck.... i usually go with a few friends and it makes it alittle better... watching tv in my friends bagged s10 also helps, lol.... we watched shooter at the last show (twice) lol next year my car should be ready for some good shows, bigger shows, and maybe i will get to be in a magizine or something .(haha, i wish) my friends elcamino is going to be in one this year. so i want to shoot for that next year, or the following, it will be hard though i do not have the connections that he does....[:@] welll good luck getting to SEMA and hopefully my friend will get there in the ppg tent/hotwheels but this weekend will tell us if he goes or not, i will post when i get back from ohio.....

Thanks, it would be nice to get a spot for SEMA, but I'm not keeping my hope up. Have a safe trip to Ohio. They get rowdy over there LOL

Default NeonOn19s project *** new year.... new start

Well, its been awhile since I have updated this thread, and I've been slacking for awhile, but my job / holidays have kept me from working on the car. I have put my foot down and I'm going to start this up again.... So today it was 72 out, and I decided that it was time to work.
The car is back on the stands... yeah!!! can't get access to my attic agian.. LOL

I was fortunate to get my front bumper up in the attic before it went on the stands...

I'm trying to figure a way to get my FM stations again, since I have no outside antenna, so I'm installing one inside my dash if possible...

I have it hooked up, but i'm getting a lot of static... It will come to me sooner or later.

I'm also going to work on modding the turbo pods onto my dash..

Now I need to figure out what I need to do to make it work.

Onto the Engine... The break down begins and the turbo installs started..

As you can see I tore down what I could.. nothing a little WD-40 can work with.. LOL

Cooliant tank removed for the time being.. I will have to relocate the cooliant some where else in the tight engine compartment.

Now here is one question that I have.. This box that I took out that is right by the OEM cooliant bottle I need gone so the turbo can fit. Any idea what it is, and do I need it?

It had vac line connected to it. I temporally tied it off so there wouldn't be a leak.

I removed the heat shield off the exhaust manifold and tried to break free the bolts on the Catalitic converter.. too rusted.. WD-40 is sitting on it right now... I hope that it works.
