Get an R/T valve cover. Its metal not plastic like ours then you can get it dipped

i thought that the stock es/se/sxt valve covers were plastic coated not completely plastic.....

I I found a valve cover for the 2.0 its carbon fiber from dodge but they want 500 dollars for it

HMMM...... the first gen looks simmilar, but not exact, i emailed him to see if it would work,

anyone have a used rt valve cover??? r they the same as an se?? exept for being metal and not plastic???

99% sure the r/t will fit..... the first gen the PVC is cominng out at a diffrent place... but other then that it looks like it would fit.... not sure tho [/align]

The first gen works and its actually better becasue the pcv valve is in a better location so you dont get the oil build up in the intake. The R/T works too its the exactly the same as the reg 2.0l

thanks, i am buying the indy manifold now so maybe later this winter i will get my hands on the valve cover.....

I think that there is a guy on neons.org Jeff(something) on the vendor/group buys does powercoating, he states that he has a Chrome finish power that might look good. He is located in Michigan. I've seen his work and I"m sending him an extra valve cover to do.. He has all the equipment to do it. I would remove the coating on the vavle cover before you send it to him (aircraft paint remover works) If not he can sand blast it, but he will charge you for it.
