the reason i'm selling the 2000 Neon for $2000 is there is a lot of miles and a couple small dents on the passenger side.

 

he's making up for it on the 04... lol I bought my 03 brand new for not much more than your asking for the 04. How many miles on the 04?

 

The '04 has 60,000. Perfect condition. I just bought it this past spring.

 

any reason why you're selling it for $3000+ over blue book value? Car is worth $7 or $8000 at the most... Dealer probably wouldn't even give you $5000 for it if you traded it in. regardless, good luck with te sale.

 

I bought it for $11,000 less than a year ago. I'd take best offer, though.

Yep, my '05 with 38K miles was listed at the local dealer for just under $12.5. KBB dealer price I found out is only $9.3K but they gave me a good deal on my truck trade in so it worked out about right. If someone would come and pick up my car next week and bring cash I'd go $8.5K on it. I just need enough to geat a Bug and stick a transaxle and build up and engine for it plus a few other little mods here and there. Sorry if I hi-jacked the thread.

 

unfortunately for those of us who financed a neon, they dont hold their value very well. the difference in depriceation between my sxt and srt is very noticable
