hey guys i was thinking on installing a apexi n1 exhaust system onto my 2004 neon sxt, i was just wondering if anyone wouldknow if i would have to have my car re-mapped if i install this or would it run just fine as is,also would it fit on mymodel for sure a lot of places say its for the 00-03 neonis there a difference between that and mine?my engine is mostly stock i just have a k&n CA intake on it. any other insite, information or advice would be greatly appreciated... thanks.

 

i think all you have to do is bolt it up, you might have to modify the back bumper a little. The real person to ask is neonon19s

 

00-05 are da same, da only difference in extirior is front and rear bumers and head and taillights. it should fit urs if it say 00-03

 

Really all that you have to do is install it. I was able to use the same exhaust hangers that were there... What do you mean Remap it???? If you are talkig about the PCM...no... Just lay out the exhaust, mark where it meets on the converter... Cut at the mark, and hang new exhaust. They say that the bracket that comes with it is good enough, but it gave me a little exhaust leak.. I then had the system welded where it met to the converter..
