what wire is the power to the fogs when the low beams are on?

Do you have fogs? are they not turning on?

try to be a little more specific in your question so we can help?

 

i think they're asking what wire to use to power the fogs... but the real question is, do you want the fog lights to turn on with your low beams or with your parking lights?

are you using the new multi-function switch? or are you putting in a switch yourself?

 

sweet zombie jesus! please do not directly wire them to your parkig lights...trust me all kinds of stuff goes wrong when you do that. your best bet to wiring up fog lights if you can didnt come equiped with them your best bet is buying an aftermarket fog light kit and wiring them with all the goodies that come with it.

 

+1 whatever you dont wire them to your headlights or parking lights in anyway.

my fogs dont work n i was gonna test the wires n see if i had power lol

 

speaking of fog lights , sorry about jumping in here but didnt want to start a whole new thread on similar subject. ok. on my car, its an 05 sxt without the foglights, i want to put some in. when i looked behind the bumper, there are wire plugs sitting, unattatched, just sitting there. are these the harnesses for the fog lights if i got that package?? if so, can i take aftermarket fogs and plug them in there?? and once again, if so, how can i get them to turn on?? there is no switch in the car specifically saying fog lights on it.

 

Did you check the fuse?

 

What's wrong with wiring them into your parking lights? I have my fogs wired up like that and my harness and lights are doing fine.
