one time, about 5 years back, was driving to a friends house following him and i got pulled over for 60 in a 55... he actually wrote me the ticket!! that was some dumb ****!!

best thing ever: when i looked at the ticket, the officer's last name was "Bobo". That made me laugh at least it lightened the mood!!!!! but i laughed when i was fighting it, because the judge just laughed and said i can't have this!! and threw it in the garbage!! it was deff in accordance it was the most ridiculous ticket i've ever seen.

 

It all depends on the cop...the other day I was doing 35+ over the speed limit and the cop didn't even ask for my insurance. I have one of the most riced out neons on this board and he let me go...

But I never ever get any profiling or special "treatment" because of my neon...you guys must have ****ty cops

 

haha none or as bad as on sunday night i whent to hollywood video with the girlfriend to rent a movie but wound up buying 3 lol and i stop at the light waiting to turn left at the 3 way light and the cop stops at light to my right to turn and he's got a red light and another cop passed and beeped and revved his engine well my light turns green and his is still red and he whent to go and almost t-boned me...WTF!?!

 

funny thing is that all u forget to realize is that he was probably just driving around..thats what cops are paid to do...if its slow they just drive their cars...maybe he liked ur car..who knows.... i think u are all a lil paranoid lol... u can get up to speed as fast as u want just dont go over... i talk to alot of cops and they all say the same thing...they dont give good people tickets...its the ******** that get em....made me laugh ....

I wouldn't attempt that... I've got a warning and was told that i could have gotten an "Exhibition of Speed" ticket. Well, it wasn't put that nicely.

I had a cop tailing me also, and when the speed limit jumped from 35mph to 55mph i stepped on it to **** him off. oh and it did. luckily it was my buddy's uncle. lol politics.

as far as the speeding up as fast as you want.. i've heard cops giving reckless driving or something like that..
my friend has a 1.3 liter suzuki swift with a hole in the muffler bigger than your fist and he peeled out of his apartment parking lot and a cop puled him over and walked up laughing (by the way this swift has bull horns wired on the grill lol) and told him not to do that anymore
i'm pretty sure if it would have been a mustang or something bigger he would have written a ticket

 

Cops are dumb. If one follows you just drive really slow.

Edit: I pass atleast one cop a day as im going like 5mph over the speed limit.
Cops around here dont mess with me thank god.

 

if u make the tires squeel from a start the cops around here (NJ) can also get you for something called Disorderly Start or something along those lines.... its a pain in the *** ticket... and i've actually been pulled over as i was pulling into my own driveway... by TWO cops! hahaha freakin hilarious.....
