i am going to get it taken to my friend's dad shop tomorrow and have it thouroughly inspected. Depending on what the verdict is on that will ultimately determine whether or not I get it. Even if I don't get that particular one, I at least know that I will qualify and can go on a hunt for another one. Hopefully this one will be it though.

on another note, my friend knows a guy that is selling 61" RCA plasma tv's for 250 bills.

the carfax shows there was an accident reported in october! WTF the guy says it's in MINT condition. It says the "damage" was on the right. I didn't see a damn thing when my friend and I went to check it out. Is it possible that it was just a small fender bender that didn't cause damage?

actually I don't which sucks but I'm not going to tell the guy anything yetbut i will let the mechanic know. I'm pretty sure he can tell whether its severe or not. It could have been something harmless like a shopping cart that dented a fender or something of that sort. I THINK lol. I'll keep u guys updated

 

If it's on CARFAX, a body shop repaired it. You could use it as leverage to lower the price. Tell him your bank bucked the loan at present car value and now you have to the same, you might get another $500 off the price. Ask him where the bodywork was done and talk to shop. See if they do good work and warranty their work. My body shop does better work the factory, and guarantees their work for 10 years - period.Keep in mind, as excited as you are about buying it, he is more excited about selling it.
