I've read that the turbo is a lot more efficient than a supercharger on the Neons. I've heard that it's cheaper to set up the turbo on this car.
I'd personally rather have a turbo b/c you'll get better fuel economy. Superchargers always run while turbos don't. Turbos only have to run during boost.

 

yeah, but with a supersharger, you could rig it to have a blower popping up out of the hood!!

 

there is a guy on the 2GN.org forums with a SC neon if i'm correct.... a lot of fabrication....
