back to the OP's original post... If you want to get off the line quick you need to buy an AWD or RWD car. Wrong wheel drive cars like ours do not get off the line quick. FWD cars play "catch up"... That's just the way it is, was, and always will be.

His screen name is santos0508. Santos is a portuguese last name. I have cousins that are Santos, i went to school with a few Santos, etc... They are all portuguese.
Now if the "508" in his screen name has anything to do with his area code, i can bet he is from Fall River or New Bedford. (or at least very close)

Way to go guys now santos0508 thinks this forum is crazy. He'll probably never come back. Santos0508, theres nnot much you can do with an atx to get off the line quick. I too have a 3spd atx and the only way to decently lauch is to hold the gas and brake at the same time. And if you go turbo the 3spd atx wont handle it without major upgrades.
