will this blow up my motor
i want to make some upgrades where i feel that i need them and i want your opinion on if i should do it and would my results be good.
2005 dodge neon mtx.
intake manifold for my high rpm range.
the cam to match it for higher rpms
a throttle body to compinsate that extra.
the msd ignition. because i was reading. stock ecu dont deliver a strong spark at a certain rpm and it cuts away from higher rpm
And i would like to no if i would have to get a little largerthan stock, fuel injectors and fuel pump for that.
And one more thing howell automotive has this jet chip for my neon would that set up work with the msd ignition.
all im looking for is something that would increase my acceleration at top speed. the torque is straight cause i really dont get burnt off the line unless im racing a car that is a hell of alot fastere than mines. but yeah would this be a good start just for my higher rpm range and if so what else would i need.

With the stock ECU you'll only get 6750rpm no matter what cam or intake you run. JET chips are junk, the ECU will re-learn the tampered with settings and re-adjust to factory specs in a couple weeks of driving so don't waste your money. If you have the NGC system you're pretty much stuck with it unless you want to go MegaSqurit. All the things you mentioned will help with the HP but won't do anything for getting higher rpm.
Larger fuel injectors won't do much, stock ones are fine in an N/A 2.0L.

First off, what are you going for. N/A? Forced Induction? Some HodgePodge Ebay Monstrosity? Who knows....
Secondly, we have a sticky up top for reviews on all sorts of bolt ons (and not so bolt ons).
One of the biggest things we will tell you is this. A part can only work as well as the system it is on. So... expecting a lot of horsepower out of 1 part is... absurd. ESPECIALLY on a neon.
So... what would I do?
Focus on the small bolt ons first. There are a BAZILLION threads on "what should be my first mod" or "what should I get next?".
Once you have the basic intake and exhaust taken care of, you then worry about your intake manifold, cam, etc.
No you don't need bigger injectors or a new fuel pump after all that. Your ECU Balances Air Fuel, and your Injetors are more than adequate.
P.S. You will only blow up your engine if you mess up installing your cam
(so... don't).

wow, your man who posted this is sure funny. that would have been messed up if he did buy those injectors though. he sounds like a friend of mines, he's "civic driver" and always wants to race but its slow as ballz lmao (dx). idk the guy at the top just kinda reminded me of him lol!!!!

Forget Jet. AFX PCM is the easiest bolt on, or a Megasquirt which is a bit harder to install.
