Default 2000 Neon base model.....needs improvements.

Hi....I got a 2000 neon base standard model. Now, i'd like to know what are best improvements i can add or change to my car? I would like something that would help with saving fuel and more power. Plus a whole new stereo system. ....uh....wheels too. no spoiler. I wanna keep it stock as possible, while it runs good. it's at 119,210 miles on it. but it still runs good. I want know what i can do and add or change to improve as i just mentioned. Not for racing. just good performance.
Thanks RIc

cold air intake, msd blaster coil, belden max performance wires, axle back exhaust system, megan racing 2.0 inch lowering springs, katana zr-6 18 inch rims with falken zien tires, front and rear upper strut braces, oh wait thats my car......sorry. theres so much to do to these things man. why dont you buy contagious19's intake cuz itll be cheaper than from the store. its probably a good beginning for you and if you dont hotrod it around town, you will get better gas mileage too.

Yea definietly get an intake first. That will open up a whole new feeling from your motor. Then rims, lowering, kit you get the idea. be creative. As for gas mileage I wanna say go get and MSD Kit. (Dis 2) Its Kinda of the expensive way ($400)to go but that will be your best bet for saving a few bucks at the pump because it will burn the fuel better than stock can. If you dont want to go that route, a full tuneup should help. But you cant play with the car, go easy especiallythose "jack rabbit starts" and notice the difference.

I hope that timing belt is swapped out, otherwise keeping it running would be an improvement.

If your money is tight, just get a cold air intake. A header and cat-back would be nice too but if your money is tight then that might be too much.
