i would get it. t3/t4 hybrid turbos are popular among the honda scene. and as long as my friend has had his installed, they seem reliable too. prett good price also. i would make sure the exhaust side bolts up good and the oil fitting is a standard size. other than that go for it.

for a $170 i'd buy two... The turbo i have picked out for my other project is over a grand.

For that price its a disposable turbo... If it breaks, you buy another. If you get a year out of it you got your money's worth. The only thing i would be worried about is the quality of the casting.

exactly what i am worried about.... my turbo is a garrett, good quality hands down, and i know that the shaft i am getting is also a garrett oem part, but garrett is expensive name. (not as bad as turbonetics) but still high...... i just look at it in one of two ways

1- i have already bought the rebuild kit for 75, so why not spend another 160 on it and the turbo is good for ALONG time, dependable and durable.....

2- get a cheap turbo and hope it last me a year untill i can afford a turbine....

i just think 1 makes alittle more sence to me.... but if i get the turbo and something happens to it in two months i am out the money that i would of spent on just a turbine...... i guess what i am wishing is if it was a garrett i would of already bought the damn thing, but some quality worries me on ebay????

has anyone bought a turbo off of ebay??????? i boughta kit for an eclipse that i did for a guy, but he has not drove it yet?????????????????

Based on my experience on buying crappy products, I'd buy quality.

I would look at his sales and google the turbo to see if it's any good.
