COMP 400 Cam, MSD Wires, K&N Cold Air Intake, Eibach Prokit lowering springs, Hotchkis Tuning Sway Bars, Vibrant Front and Rear Strut Bars, Unorthodox Uunderdrive Pulley, Maddog 72% Short Throw Shifter, JonnyMopar Solid Shifter/Booger Bushings, Prothane MM's, and some nice wide wheels with sticky tires.

Thats a good palce to start anyways...

I think Im going with the tokico blues, with tokico lowering springs. I think 1.4 dropfront and rear is ok, and I can stilluse my car normal.

Yeah I have the Blues with Eibach springs, the ride is a bit rough, especially on post-winter pothole roads, but its not horrible or anything (IMO). The HP Blues are great either way though.

I'd be paying $360ish, and I need new struts bad.

Yeah that seems to be the average price for the Tokico Strut/Spring combo...I know I paid $255 shipped for the struts, then $125 for slightly used Eibach springs way back when, but it was worth the little extra cost.

If this stupid check form the goverment ever comes in thats what Im putting some of it towards. The struts on the car have 136,000+ miles on them, its about time I get new ones.

For a AutoX style car Neons are good but for something where you need power they're not all that great because of the NGC computer system in use on the '03-'05 cars. No plug in tuners, no aftermarket computers that you can swap out. You pretty much have to add another computer system to the car like a MegaSqurit unit and from what I've read it's either easy or a PITA depending on who you talk to. Bolt ons, including a good cam can get you into the 125whp range or maybe a bit better. Here's a great link for info.

If you accept it's limitations the Neon can be a pretty great little car, especially with the gas mileage you can get out of em'. Just don't think your going to make a 400whp street screamer out of a N/A 2.0L A588 motor.
