seeings my car is already up on ramps, i am just going to start pulling the engine out, and trans out.... so after all the work i put into the car i am going to pull it all back apart.....[:@] i am thinking about painting the trans and block, and polishing the outer part of the head.... so i have to pull the turbo BACK off, and intake to get the block out.... so i think i am going to start on saterday.... and sunday before my "prep" for my test i have to have on monday i am going to do alot of work on it....

any others have some ideas to make the engine stand out??

does anyone know hwere to get stainless steal braided line, for my fuel lines?????

 

Sorry I cant help you but Im sure you can find the SS lines. Good luck with cleanin up the engine and such, I bet it will look badass.

I picked up my SS lines from Summit.com with the AN fittings, but its costly... To spice up the engine, how about GOLD Plating... A little bling... bling... LOL you could alway do the VIP styling with the little crystal stones and coat your valve cover in that.... J/K I konw that my fuel lines are going to run me 300 bucks for the return to the regulator back to the tank... and the spool boy mod.... I would also do a wire tuck since you are have everything pulled out... That would look tight

agree with u there 19s... the wiring harness does not look that good on the cars. becasue it sticks out like a sore thumb.... what i was also thinking about doin is getting rid of the heater core to...i only drive the car in the summer so i could very easaly weld up the wholes and not run the lines off of the water pump, but just run them in a loop...... i really think that this year may not be a total waste... granted i will not drive the car, but next year it will look pritty kick ***.... i hope....

could i run steal braided to just the lines under the car?? instead of all the way to the tank????? maybe save me some money, and that is all u really see anyway from the top of the engine????

i may start this tonight.... not sure, becasue i have to get the cherry picker from my friends house.... EVEN THOUGH I HAVE PLENTY OF WORK TO DO BEFORE I AM READY FOR THAT.....LOL

 

that is what I'm doing... adapting the OEM lines with an AN fittings and flaring the lines out and using the SS lines only in the engine bay.... G/L wish that I was closer I would help you out...

i think that it was going to be 400-450 for a SS lines all the way to teh tank

 

ouch, that deffenetly hurts...i was hopin to spend maybe 150 on lines..... not 300.... oh well i am WAY away from worring about that anyway..

 

well yesterday pissed me off a bit....the kid that is helpin me with my ms stopped by work,i told him that i was not driving the carthis year, i also told him that i have to have a test done on monday that i had to pay out of pocket..... he said "so what, u HAVE to drive the neon this year, u put alot of work into it" i just said well i may have, but i dont have the money to insure it and put it on the road, along with some things r more inportant than drivin a car........... he has everything kinda handed to him..... does not really work for what he gets in life...(more power to him) i bust my *** off to try to get stuff for my car and put food in my mouth.... the money i was saving to put the neon back on the road has to go to this, i am not really happy about it...for one i dont get to drive my baby this year, and two if they dont find anything then i have to spend more money finding out what is wrong........ not been in a good mood latly[:@] i dont think i will be workin on the neon anytime soon..... i kinda give up on it right now.......................[&:], maybe after monday is done and over with i can start worrin about the car instead of worring about me.......
