Default Lower Control Arm Bushing Junk

I'm under the impression that this is quite a common problem with 2 Gen Neons. The bushing in the Lower Arm pulled out. It looks as though both LT and RT sides are junk. I'm hoping someone has fixed this on their own to know what I'm getting myself in to. How tough is it to just replace the bushings? They also make an entirecontrol arm with a lifetime warnanty...It doesn't look too hard to pull out and replace. Is it a huge ordeal? If you guys know let me know.

Ha ha...NICE! Thanks for the link and I'll see how horrible it is for myself. Would you suggest replacing the bushings or the whole control arm?

Deffinetely just the bushings. The control arm is a huge piece of metal...unlesss it's rusted itself to the point there are holes I don't see any reason to change it. Or if you bent it.

Drop it off at a mechanics and pay him $50-60...trust me it's worth it.

The write up on SRTforums is way better than that one

The control armsare in great shape. I'm just worried that the new bushings will pop out again. I'll take your advice and save myself the time. Thanks again

Nah they won't pop out. Get the set from Modern...it's like $34.99 with shipping. The ride will be a bit harder because they're solid, but it's still very much nicer than stock. The steering response is drastically changed

Modern? I'm not real savoy on any of the aftermarket parts available for my R/T. I'd like to do more upgrades, but I talked to one of the moderators on here and it sounds like I'm pulling the entire bottom end of the motor apart to turbocharge it. So I'm not real sure how involved I want to get. If you have a link for these parts that would really help me out.
