Default Transfered the SRT sus to SXT

I've asked questions about struts and springs in the past, but I had to do the project myself to get the answers that I needed. I was lucky enough to stumble into a SRT on one of my weekends at the wreckyard and managed to obtain all the struts and all the sway bars...both front and rear. I have mounted all the hardware onto my SXT Dodge Neon..everything fitted perfect and even the SRT tires and rims went on without any problems. It rides alot like a turbo and very stiff around the corners....very sweet indeed! Everything that I mounted was about 1 hundred dollars and in very good condition. I guess doing the job yourself answers alot of questions!

Tackling a project yourself is always the best way to get informed...although that information is pretty common knowledge. Oh and I noticed that you put stock SRT tires and wheels on your car...just so you know your speedometer is not reading correctly by about 3mph (so if it says your going 60, your really going 63, and the difference will increase as you get faster) or so.

Thank you for that info and Iwill watch out for it on the highways. I also own a 04 Silver SRT-4 too and thats why I was informing that it now rides like a turbo. It would be nice to put a body kit on the SXT and run a dual pipe too. I actually mounted the original tires from the turbo onto the SXT, since I placed black drifter rims on the turbo. I'll send pixs very soon.

Too bad the performance loss from the bigger rims is pretty big with the slow *** 2.0L. The struts will offer a different ride and yeah the ride does feel stiffer.

The SXT is for cruising, not racing...everybody has their own perferences. And I repect your opinion.
