Just got DropZone Coilovers, They look too short! Is this normal?
I just got a set of Dropzone coilover springs...and they look mighty small. they are about half a foot and smaller than my hand, and they are also narrow as heck. My friend got teins for his corolla and they were like a foot and a half long....Is it normal for these to be this short? I can imagine alot of rubbing taking place if i put them in. I compared those to pictures on the box and on the internet, but they were significantly smaller than those pictures (including the length of that metal piece on the bottom. As you can tell, this is my first time messing with lowering springs.
What you guys think?

cant see in the pic too well but they look like the coilover conversion kit right?? its just the spring, sleeve, orings and a couple grommets right?? anyway, there is a link im trying to find where someone does step by step install with pics on stock struts for his neon. i think they are small because the sleeve goes over the strut outer sleeve and sits on the perch. that way, it rises the spring high enough to hold on the top plate. i also know you need to cut your bump stops in half. ill try to find the site and post it for ya.
do yourself a favor and throw those in the garbage. They are not dropzone coilovers or springs for that matter, they are ebay knock off pieces of ****. DON'T INSTALL THEM
I was afraid about this...Oh well, I didn't really want to lower my car that bad anyways. The streets of New Orleans aren't that great either.
http://www.ae92gts.com/ae92gts_ut_gc1.html here is the link. i know its not for a dodge its for a toyota but its a really good write up. also, they test the performance after install so you know what to expect. your install is pretty much going to be identicle to this one. and the coilover sleeves they use are also ground control. hope this helps you.
