There is no problem. 300 miles from a 12.5 gallon tank is 24 mpg. Thats what Neons get. I get 22-23 but I drive like a maniac.

Flashing light, not sure, I get 36-37mpg average....

I'd get it checked or autozone to get a scan done....

The blinking gas light means get to a gas station quick your about to run of out of gas. Mine has never done that cause I feel her up as soon as the light comes on . Mine gets like 25to30 in the city and 35 + on the highway. If your worried and havent changed your plugs and wires in awhile or dont have a cold air intake all that will help with your gas mileage.

Iused to get 350from a full tank.I know the tornado would help it aswell, but i got rid of it cuz it choked my engine when i was driving. What can i do to get better mileage?

Unless your doing all highway mileage, 24mpg is average for normal city driving, if not more so...

Its not a secret that Neon gas gauges are far from accurate, and when the low fuel light start blinking that means (theoretically) that you are critically low on fuel...although since the gauges arent very accurate thats not always or usually the case.

i only get about 240 before my gas light comes on. but its weird because when my gas light comes on and i fill up, it only takes around 9 gallons. so i guess its pretty good. and its all city driving.
