Although superchargers do take power to make power, the gain you get still balances it out. Here's a little bit better of a link than the others that I posted.

I wouldn't say it wouldn't be worth it, especially if your looking for more low end power or a little bit easier installation... well, after you get the custom intake and brackets made, which really wouldn't be hard. The battle between supercharger and turbo will rage on forever. It all comes down to preference really.

The only way to add a supercharger to a 2.0 Neon is to totally remove the AC compressor, and then custom make all the brackets, plumbing, etc, and of course, pick which supercharger you want to go with.

So, with all that work said and done, why not just use the insanely more proven method of forced induction on the Neon, which is a turbocharger?

All you have to do is unbolt the AC condenser then you make a custom plate to bolt to m45 to it and you got to make a top hat for the blower for a inlet and outlet then pipe it to a intercooler and go from there nice pipe a bov big tb a nice intake manifold u know the works
