Besides the spot near the headlights its all off( the bumper is cracked there)
The car is dirty and it started raining whenI took these.

The date on the first pic is correct but somehow it got changed over the weekend, you did remind me to turn it off thanks, lol
You can see some of the clear coat/paint on the tire that i never wiped off.
As soon as i get anouther package of the sandpaper i will touch up the bottom of the bumper and remove the fog light covers.
Then wax the car as soon as the pollenstopsfalling, justlook at the build up on my car after 1 day.

yeha i did it all by myself.
Some where down the line some person tried to paint it and it did not adhere at all si it came off fairly easily, although getting through the clearcoat took a while.
The clearcoat is still on the original paint.
now the car looks wierd from the front, one side of the bumper is clean (no bug damage) and the other side is badly damaged by those lil F***ers.
I am going to wetsand that side too, its just that i ran out of sandpaper.

1 more thing usewater with car soap added, i found it was a little easier b/c the suds made the paint drip down faster and the suds stayed on thepaint longer then regular water.

Default RE: Bumper fixed!

hey man.. can you give me some info on how to do this? i have a few spots on my car i wanna touch up but the one i need to sand is where some *** *** kid form school keyed my car.. its on my rear 1/4 panal and it looks like it didn't go threw to the paint.. and its just into the clear coat (but i could be wronge)..

So i just get 2000gritt sand papper, then dip it in soapy water, then sand, sand, sand?? Then did u paint it back or did u just sand threw the clear and a layer of paint or something?

And after did you go over it with some of the spray on clear coat and wax??

Please let me know so i can fix that key mark..

And one more question.. how much of the surrounding area did you need to sand as well?

Thanks again man!
