I'm making the rest of it tomorrow... you hear a lot of arguments both ways about the HHO generators but the bottom line is, the geeks who never tried one all say "it's fluid dynamics and it's impossible to get more power out of something without using power to do it so it won't work"... well that's true but they all neglect the fact that the engine is ALREADY RUNNING on gas regardless of whether or not the HHO generator is on or not... they neglect the fact that its not the Hydrogen or Oxygen mix thats powering the engine... its the fact that the gases are helping the fuel combust much better (normal air that we breathe is only 20% oxygen anyway, most of the air around us is Nitrogen, which is inert and under normal conditions cannot burn, period).

ANYWAY, I'm putting the coil for it together tomorrow, and possibly if I get far enough I'll hook it up too and see what happens. I'm not running mine off the ignition though like other people, just going to toggle-switch mine and see what happens... I just have to remember to shut it off before I turn the engine off LOL... I'll post pics and results on here when Im done to see if its worth it and how much it really gains...

im not talking about the toggle switch and the ignition bypass electronics.... im talking about messing with the electronic mixture controller. if you put a HHo gen in and hook the hose into the airbox, the mixture controller will think the engine is running too lean and will add more fuel to compensate.... well thats not gonna get you better MPG. you have to fool it, by messing with the electronics. i have a pdf describing what to do, but its over my head. i'll shoot you a pm if you ask.

Oh yeah, it's called an EFIE box, you can pick one up for 60 bucks, or you can build one (I can build one at work) for a lot cheaper than that... basically the box is intercepting the signal voltage from the O2 sensor, and using solid-state relays and/or an analog output to produce a slightly higher voltage signal and send it back to the computer... this way, the ECU thinks that it's seeing an O2 sensor that's sending a rich reading, when in fact its being faked out by the EFIE box... causing the ECU to adjust properly and lean everything back out... keep in mind this is not a constant voltage, but it alternates with the 02 sensor... when the sensor reads 0.3V, the EFIE will send 0.5V+ to the computer... when the O2 sensor reads0.7 volt, the EFIE will produce 0.9V+, etc etc

From what I have read, seems like the guys running an HHO gen putting out no more than 1-1.5 LPM can get by without having to use an EFIE in most cases... but 1.5-2.0 LPM or higher some of them are having troubles and need to switch to the EFIE...

I'm guessing by building mine, I want to keep mine around 1.25 LPM or so, just a small one, because I don't want to draw more than 15 amps, ever. I'll let you know how it goes...
