what to do next
I just saved up some money. obviesley its going into the car and not my girl lol. I dont have enuff for the afx computer. should i save more then get that or, get the passetter cat back to go with the header, i want to get rid of that RICE CAN though. Or should i go with some tints along with altezzas. eather way im ordering from howell. i got my header in one day from them, i like how they do bussiness.
I put a Review of the AFX computer & the truth behind it under the CORE CHARGE POST. The point is, they delete bad reviews and also chage incorrect information and act like they didn't change anything. Read the post if u want to know.
Anyway, I was about to order the computer but I noticed something about the computers that changed under the discriptions. The hp gains for both of the computers (street and race) changed and were decreased as a correction. As far as the street, the horsepower gain is only 7-8 instead of 9-23 hp like it stated before. In my opinion, the price of the AFX computer is too much. U only get 7-8 on the Street version for 525 dollars. I think it's rediculous for them to charge 375-390 just to program the core then add 150 dollars for the USED core charge. I'm on the border-line of getting the AFX computer though. My other option is to get something else and hope Mopar comes out with a computer soon (they are way cheaper).
I have the Pacesetter cat-back that u are thinking about getting. If u want a improved sound of your car, get the cat-back. People normally get the exhaust done as one of the first steps anyway. At the stage you're in, I say get the cat-back system and something else instead of the computer. Plus u could get a lot more with the money u would spend on the computer. That's just my opinion.

yea thats alout of money. i didnt no they changed it. I might go with the cat back. how does yours sound casper? My rice can doesnt sound that bad but has an annoying hum while on the parkway. the intake takes over it though. And if i get the catback passetter can i put diffrent tips on the end or do i have to cut them off and weld new ones on.
Mine sounds like half a hemi. I love the sound, its got a little crackle and pop, but its a nice deep sound. My tips came with 90's on them that connect to the muffler, I would imagine that you could get some tips and 90's and put different tips on, but if you are gonna go that route, I would suggest a custom exhuast, it would probally be the same money as the pacesetter and the new tips fabricated.
